After reading one of the blogs I follow, I thought I would put a quick one in this morning! Cowboy decided two days ago that since it was wet outside that he would do some "plumbing" and he HATES to plumb, but he is a trooper and does it anyway! When we first got married he had the plumbing under the kitchen sink propped up with a piece of wood. He told me in no uncertain terms that "it worked didn't it, and there weren't any leaks."
Don't panic, we have since gotten that fixed many years ago. I had to tell that little story before I finished with the present story.
The bathtub is dripping from the cold water "part." He bought washers in Miles City and thought he could remove some of the pipes and fix it PDQ. He couldn't even get back to where he wanted. His comment was, "They don't make them like they used to when you could work on them!" (Sounds like the new pickups too!!) So that left him with installing the new faucet for the kitchen sink. I had removed ALL items from under the sink so he could crawl in, like Dagwood, but Cowboy has more ability I am sure! He is tall and it is a pain to crawl in there. It was my treadmill time (good thinking on my part), so I did not get in on any cussing, just a little "these wrenches, you never have the right one!" When I came back in a hour he was about done other than for me to hold the faucet in place while he tightened "stuff."
But the point of my little story was, I had to use the "little girls' room" while he was plumbing in the kitchen. I told him, "Oh, honey, you must have done something right, the cold water has quit leaking in the bathtub." He said, "Oh, my little blond wife, the water is turned off." I consider myself intelligent, why oh why do I have blond moments... And just as he said it, I said, "I know, I know, the water is turned off!"
I will tell you in another blog about how he started saying, "Oh, my little blond wife..."
Hope your Friday is fabulous!
You'll have to tell some stories on his Blonde moments.
