Dancing Darlin's

Cowboy PopPop and I went to a dance recital on May 29th.  It was raining, so we were able to get away from the ranch.  We don't get to as many events of the grandies as we would like so this was a perfect opportunity.  Little did we realize that it was a dance recital for wee ones up to adults.  It was all VERY good, but it was two hours long and the sweet little ones were going to perform again at 6:30 p.m. for another two hours.  If I were in charge of the world, I would have a recital for the small children and one for older people.  But drat!  I wasn't put in charge!  There were cloggers, and cheer leading stunts and everything in between...

The theme was a little bit country, a little bit rock...

Liv told her Mom she wouldn't be "shy" and she did lots of smiling!  We loved watching "ours" and it was so hard to see them all as we didn't want to miss anything Liv did!

They are getting "lined up" so they don't run into the one beside them.  To pull off a production of this sort, is a LOT OF WORK!  Taking pictures was a test as they were always moving and some of the one I took were blurry!!  Imagine!

Kamy is older and has lots of "polish" and looks fantastic in orange with her red hair.  Mom said that it was quite an ordeal getting everyone's hair "just right"...

I love their poodle skirts...  Kamy did well in this dance too.  They were just so cute with their pink kerchiefs!
We were so glad we went even if it was a lot of sitting!  Meghan told me that Sydney had a art show that lasted for 1 1/2 hrs. and that is for a first grader!

  1. I sure hate missing all these cool things! These girls are growing up too fast, but they sure are cute in their dancing duds (and this is so good for coordination and confidence). Keep it up girls.
